Lately I’ve been wanting to eat a bit healthier, so the other day I picked up some healthy ingredients for smoothies. I figured instead of eating a big breakfast in the morning, I’ll switch to having smoothies instead. I heard all the healthy benefits about matcha from a coworker so I decided to give it a try! Plus she said that it helps with weight loss so why not.
For my smoothie this morning I used the following items!
Organic Chia Seeds 2 Tbsp
Almond Breeze Original 2 Cups
Organic Banana 1
Matcha 2 Tsp
Honey 2 Tsp
It’s a pretty light taste, definitely tastes like green tea but with a little hint of banana. It’s not overly sweet, just light. I could for sure drink this every morning! It’s also vegetarian too! (I’ve been debating going vegetarian for a while now) Hope you guys give it a try and like it!
