Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV

I didn’t grow up playing the Final Fantasy series due to never owning a Playstation system in my younger years but being introduced to it by my lovely boyfriend has opened my eyes. We watched Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV tonight – the film prequel to the game Final Fantasy XV – and I was captivated by the well put together film. From the story line..all the way down to the characters and their personalities. Not to mention the phenomenal graphics, making everything seem so life like and just pure perfect. I usually don’t go out of my way to watch films that are based on video games but this one changed my mind. I’m usually the person that can’t resist looking at their phone during movies/ tv shows but with this film I didn’t even glance at it for a second. I didn’t want to miss a single thing, my eyes were glued to the screen. The film is an hour and fifty five minutes long, which in hindsight seems fairly long but at the end I was wishing there was more..I really didn’t want it to end just yet. The voice actors were simply amazing, with Lena Headey and Sean Bean just to name a few. I highly recommend seeing this film, you will not be disapointed. I honestly can’t wait to try out this game when I get my hands on it!

I’ve been watching my husband play (I wish I had time to myself) and the relationships between the characters are pretty fun. At first I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about, but it starts picking up a few hours in. I’ll have to check Kingsglaive out… find out whether Sean Bean’s character dies. He always dies.

  3. I don’t blame you for avoiding video game movies. Most of them aren’t very good. Shame that you missed out on the PS1 Final Fantasy games because they are the best from the series.
