Don’t like eating vegetables? or just looking for a healthier breakfast alternative? I’ve been experimenting with smoothies for a few weeks now, my latest creation was just too good so of course I have to post it!
Don’t let the green colour put you off, the taste is nice and fruity! It doesn’t taste of veggies at all. Here are the simple ingredients.
- 15 oz Almond Milk ( I used unsweetened Almond Breeze)
- Handful of baby spinach
- 1/4 Cup frozen mango and peach
- 1 Banana

Is an excellent source of vitamin B-6, riboflavin, folate, vitamin A, iron, omega-3, niacin, fiber, magnesium, calcium and vitamin K. It aides in alkalizing the body and lowering both blood sugar and blood pressure. Helps protect the body against cancer.
- Almond Milk:
Is an excellent source of calcium, omega-3, vitamin D, magnesium, selenium, vitamin E and iron. A great substitute for milk if you are lactose intolerant. Has no cholesterol and helps lower levels in the blood. Also helps protect the body against cancer.
Besides being a great natural sweetener it contains excellent sources of vitamin B-6. fiber and potassium. It also contains high levels of fructooligosaccharides, which help promote calcium absorption.
Now I also want to put this out there, you can always add more healthy ingredients to this smoothie recipe such as chia seeds or almonds. Another change you can make is using water instead of almond milk. This may slightly change the flavor and consistency so keep that in mind!
