Lush’s Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Luxury Bath Oil

As promised, I’m starting reviews on the large Lush haul that I purchased yesterday. It was hard choosing the first item! I chose to start it off with Lush’s Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment bath oil. I was so excited about this that I forgot to take a picture of it before my bath so we will have to make do with this one from their website (I’m terribly sorry about it ).

The top is a shimmery vibrant pink, meanwhile the bottom is a banana yellow! Here is the description of the product off of Lush’s website:

” Mmmelt into a pink, sweet and silky retreat and leave your troubles far behind. Creamy fair trade cocoa butter and coconut oil create a gently bobbing, slowly melting oil that goes the distance for luxuriously long soaks. Watch as the two-toned vivid pink and golden yellow halves unfurl to paint a dreamy sunset swirl on the water, and take in the nostalgic cotton candy scent. When you’re ready to face reality again, it’ll be with luxuriously soft and sweetly scented skin.”

Now for the part of my brutal honesty. I didn’t read the description until now, I usually just keep a notepad handy and jot down my opinions on the product. Smell wise to me it smelled almost of exotic fruit and bubble gum. It didn’t really smell like cotton candy to me! The smell is very strong however, it lingers on your skin after your bath.. which I liked very much. I must have soaked in the tub for about 45 minutes and I didn’t feel the oils on my skin until the end of my bath. It makes your skin feel super soft to the touch! Also it makes the bath water a lovely rose colour.

This product was very enjoyable, can’t get over how amazing the scent was! I would recommend this luxury bath oil to others and I would repurchase it.
