Lush’s Lover Lamp Bath Bomb

This is one of Lush’s Valentines Day bath bombs, It will only be available in stores until Monday. When I went to my location they were sold out but one of the associates found a couple kicking around in the back stock room, of course I had to purchase one!

Here is a description of the product from the Lush website:

“However your Valentine’s Day pans out, you can rely on this amorous organic cocoa butter embrace to melt your heart and soften your skin. As vanilla absolute and Brazilian orange oil sweet nothings are whispered into your bathwater, fair trade cocoa butter hearts unfurl to envelop you in a romantic rendezvous. It’s true love!”

There are about three of the big red hearts positioned around the bathbomb and it has a nice soft smell (not over powering in any way).

When you release the bath bomb into your bath water, all these tiny little red hearts start floating around you. It was the cutest thing ever and I enjoyed was different then any other bath bomb I’ve purchased. I usually don’t go for confetti stuff but this may have changed my mind.

It leaves your bath water a milky white colour with some shimmery glitter. To be honest it sort of reminded me of cereal milk, the hearts being left over being chunks of cereal :/

Now the bigger hearts that you saw in the first picture seemed to me like oil melts. They felt oily to the touch and they also contained shimmery glitter. The water instantly made your skin feel soft and silky to the touch. Now the smell of the water! I got hints of citrus orange, it wasn’t strong.. you would just get wafts of it here and there. It was a very soft and enjoyable scent.

I highly recommend this bath bomb, it was nice and relaxing after a hard day of work. I would repurchase this product!
