I was feeling super motivated today and I didn’t want to just sit around doing nothing since It was a bright sunny day. I decided to get active and go for a walk. Well that ended up longer then I initially intended, I strayed a bit and got in tune with nature a little. Yes, my walk ended up in a hike (don’t worry I brought water and snacks). I’ve always been told not to go in forests or on trails by myself for the fear of getting attacked by some crazy person. However recently I’ve been seeing lots of my female friends posting hiking pictures where their completely by themselves so it boosted my confidence a bit. I won’t lie I still worried a little but once I got out there it was worth it. It’s so peaceful and it was wonderful just taking my time and exploring areas on my own. It felt so empowering to do something that I was taught to fear. I feel like I can do whatever I set my mind to and that I shouldn’t let fear control my life so much. I have to admit the walk home was tough, my thighs were sure feeling it! Here’s how long I was out walking/ hiking for and the distance I went, I was pretty shocked when my phone gave me my progress report.
I also managed to take some nature pictures along the way.
